Make Phase 2 Stick

Phishing analysis is the #1 Tier 1 skill
More than 80% of breaches start with phishing. Analysts who can triage phishing emails fast are immediately valuable. Do more phishing labs than anything else.
Write investigation notes like a real analyst
Every lab task should produce a short write-up: What did you find? What was the IOC? What action would you take? This habit makes portfolio projects write themselves.
Hindi learners — use both languages
Watch the Hindi explanation first to understand the concept. Then read the English Professor Messer notes. Your Security+ exam will be in English — you need exposure to both.
Practice tests from Week 11 onwards
Don't wait until you "feel ready" to do practice questions. Start doing 10 questions per day from Week 11. Seeing your score improve week by week is the best motivation.
Connect everything back to Phase 1
Phase 2 concepts make more sense when you connect them to what you built. "Firewall rules" → your pfSense lab. "Packet capture" → your Wireshark sessions. Build on, don't replace.
Book the exam before you feel 100% ready
When you consistently hit 80%+ on Professor Messer's practice tests, book the real exam within 2 weeks. Having a real exam date creates focus that nothing else can replicate.
